While one is holding a synthetic zine edition, you can turn pages to find a collection of unnecessary paper bags with jagged edges, flat plastics and containers are a mixture of fascination and frustration. Materials, substances, processes that are created through non-natural methods can be used to create plastic bottles, discarded wrappers, and heaps of rubbish.

They can be a ubiquitous sight or an inspiration to reuse, repurpose, gather, or fold again. In the process of appreciating the synthetic beauty, they grew oblivious to the tangible ugliness in their surroundings. Objects saved, rather than discarded, can be prompts, starting points, or source materials to generate new images or containers, like AI spawns people, objects or even birds passing through an archive.
