My interests in the act of reading and the playfulness of language led me to explore a digital version for text contributions for the artist book, SLOT. My intention was that the structure and system would redirect and generate a new narrative with different phrases taken out of context. This idea came about after nights at the dinner table at AAR, where I would hear snippets of conversations and often have difficulty following one narrative.
